Mayor Alex Acuzar is eyeing at least two housing projects in Samal to benefit local residents. “Our municipality owns a land area in upland Barangay Imelda, we will use that as housing site”, the mayor said in vernacular.

“We also plan to purchase land in the town proper that we can use as another housing area”, he added. Municipal Administrator Jay Lat in a separate interview said, “Ang gusto ni Mayor Alex Acuzar, dun din gagawa ng housing, malapit sa pinagtratrabahuhan ng mga kababayan namin, hindi sa malayo”.

Bataan officials are in close coordination with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development to immediately implement housing projects across the province.
